For Students Taking a Class at Central

If you are enrolled in a class at Central High School, please read carefully the instructions to leave class, transportation, arrival at CHS, and arrival back at South High. The District Office is providing a bus for students travelling to CHS. Taking an out-of-building class comes with responsibility, time-management, and strong communication with teachers.

Procedure for leaving class at SHS

  • Leave class 15 minutes before class ends to board the bus. (See detailed bussing schedule below)
  • Board the bus at the West side of the building/student attendance entrance (Door D10).
  • Please be on time; the bus will not wait.
  • If you miss the bus, it is your responsibility to arrange for transportation to CHS. Make sure to communicate with the classroom teacher via email if you are unable to secure a ride. In that instance, report to the Main office immediately.
  • The bus will drop you off at CHS at the student entrance (big glass doors). The classroom assigned is located below the bussing schedule.
  • If you are driving yourself, park on the south side of the building and enter through the south student entrance door. This will take you by their attendance office.
  • Students are expected to be in class by class start time. Repeated tardiness will have discipline consequences.
